In 2014 an estimated 24,400 women and 200 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in Canada. From the individual diagnosed, to their family, friends and caregivers, Willow Breast & Hereditary Cancer Support provides free support and information today for those who cannot wait for tomorrow’s cure.

On Tuesday, October 21, sixty of Canada’s top female chefs are donating their time and talent to create mouthwatering delicacies at the 19th Annual Eat to the Beat culinary fundraiser at Roy Thomson Hall in support of Willow.

Eat to the Beat has a cornucopia of sweet and savory foods, wines, premium beers and spirits for sampling at food and drink stations positioned around Roy Thomson Hall’s outer lobby. The incredible chef line-up includes:  Sandra Abballe (Succulent Chocolates), Wanda Beaver (Wanda’s Pie in the Sky), Paula Bashford (Beretta Farms Inc.), Kyla Eaglesham (Madeleines Cherry Pie and Ice Cream), Alexandra Feswick (Samuel J. Moore), Bonnie Gordon (Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts), Kimberly Humby (Pomodoro Trattoria), Anna Janes (Cocomira Confections), Andrea Poirier (Inn on the Twenty), Jacqueline Lo (Ruelo Patisserie), Kimberley Lugsdin (Catering by Kimberley), Joshna Maharaj (Ryerson University), Erin Marcus (Ace Bakery), Catherine O’Donnell (Willow Cakes and Pastries), Angela Panigas (The Sultan’s Tent & Café Moroc), Joanne Grice_ Pomodoro Trattoria - McColl___s Farm___s Lamb Arancini_ Smoked Stirling Water Buffalo Cheddar with Green TomaJennifer Perusini (BerBer Lounge), Karen Rachlin (Bite Catering), Emily Richards (Professional Home Economist), Trista Sheen (Crush Wine Bar),Lili Sullivan (East & Main Bistro), Karen Viva-Haynes (Viva Tastings), Vanessa Yeung (Aphrodite Cooks) and many more.

The evening also includes live music, a silent auction featuring must-have items, and a raffle draw for a chance to win great prizes.
