Social media is an integral part of our lives and yet so many people do not check to make sure that an image is in focus before they share it. Blurred images do not enhance blogs or posts on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram or Twitter, and can in fact be detrimental to your online presence.

I work with a selection of amazing photographers to capture the moment at events, but I often am seen with my trusty Canon Powershot SX50HS that I carry with me most places because you never know when you will capture the perfect image. Many images that I share through my social channels are my own original work. I take shots of my cats, the moon, client events and clients being interviewed by the media.

Many of my images need a little work to make them perfect. I always download them to my computer, colour correct them in Photoshop and crop them before sharing to ensure that the image is the best it can be.
