Ashworth Associates focuseed on obtaining media coverage that increases the profile of Erin Mills Town Centre as a leading centre in the community that supports local charities by implementing regional media relations campaigns seasonally (March Break, Back to School, Holiday Season) as well as for special events that were being staged at Erin Mills Town Centre. Media coverage increases annually.

Georgian Mall Redevelopment and Expansion
Media Relations for the Grand Opening
August 2006

Ashworth Associates was brought into work with the Georgian Mall Marketing Director to promote Georgian Mall as a retail resort with first to market stores, services and amenities to regional media in Barrie and the surrounding area encompassing cottage country as well as to Toronto-based media.

Ashworth Associates wrote and produced all media releases, backgrounders and information sheets that were incorporated in the media kits and worked with the Marketing Director to create such strategies as delivering Breakfast Baskets to on-air announcers throughout the area to ensure on-air chatter on Opening Day.  Ashworth Associates maintained media RSVPs, arranged for all advance coverage, executed media check-in and set-up on-site media interviews with the Marketing Director and the General Manager.

The grand opening was a huge success that included coverage in all of the surrounding markets as well as a ½ page feature in the Globe and Mail and a feature in the Toronto Sun.
